Professional Bio
Stephanie Greer Norfolk, MD, is a clinician educator in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, with strong interests in medical aspects of lung transplantation and critical care. Dr. Norfolk attained her baccalaureate degree from Duke University. She then entered post-baccalaureate premedical training at Columbia University in New York prior to attending Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She received her MD from Case Western, remaining in the Case Western system of hospitals throughout her internship and residency. Following the end of her residency in 2008, Dr. Norfolk returned to Duke University School of Medicine to enter a fellowship program in pulmonary and critical care medicine. She was then appointed to the faculty at Duke University School of Medicine as an Instructor in Medicine in the Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Division. Dr. Norfolk is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care. She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, the American Medical Association, and the International Society for Heart & Lung Transplantation.
