Talia was born and raised in Southern California. She attended Pepperdine University where she studied biology and psychology. The first two years of medical school took her to Omaha, Nebraska which is where she experienced all four seasons for the first time and more importantly where she met her soon-to-be husband (May 2023), Michael. The second half of medical school took her to Creighton’s Phoenix campus (Go Jays!) where her interest in neurology really started to grow. Outside of medicine, she enjoys being outdoors, cooking, watching sports, and trying out new restaurants. She is thrilled to be joining the Vanderbilt family and she and Michael look forward to starting this new journey in Nashville.
