Professional Bio
William Fiske, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
He was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia and graduated cum laude from Duke University. After graduating from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, he returned to Duke for his residency in Internal Medicine, where he met his wife, who is a Infectious Disease specialist. In 2006, he returned to Nashville for his GI Fellowship, during which he also completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. Dr. Fiske joined the Vanderbilt faculty in 2009 in General Gastroenterology, which he practices at both Vanderbilt and the VA Tennessee Valley Health System - Nashville Campus.
