Study to explore risk factors for heart disease in patients with cirrhosis and liver transplant patients

The National Institutes of Health has awarded a $3.8 million grant to Vanderbilt University Medical Center to study cirrhotic cardiomyopathy in patients with decompensated cirrhosis (severe liver disease) and liver transplant recipients.
