Alexandra was born during a blizzard in London, Ontario Canada, though she never got used to the cold. She grew up there for the first seven years of her life, then moved down to Georgia with her family. She loved exploring the outdoors as a child and swam competitively for 10 years before becoming a swim coach for four years in college. She had a love for science and a passion for medicine early on, and chose to study Biology, Psychology and Public Health at the University of Georgia. While in college, she worked abroad in medical clinics providing care to the underserved. She also learned the pain associated with being a Georgia fan. She then went to the Medical College of Georgia for her medical degree, where she earned her medical degree and a certificate in Bioethics. During her time in medical school, Alexandra has developed an interest in critical care medicine, palliative care, end of life discussions, breast cancer research, and medical ethics. In her free time, Alexandra enjoys painting watercolor animals, paddleboarding, swimming, watching Georgia football, and spending time with her friends and family.
