Ally Glover, MD, was born and raised in Jackson, Tenn. For her undergraduate education, she attended the University of Tennessee – Knoxville where she graduated summa cum laude with a major in neuroscience and minors in psychology and French. Ally then went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. During medical school, Ally was selected as a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After graduating from medical school in 2022, she did her internship and residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and is currently Hugh J. Morgan Chief Resident at Vanderbilt University Hospital. After her chief year, Ally will continue to pursue a career in medical education as an academic hospitalist. Her husband, Ben, is a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Immunology, and together they have a beloved standard poodle, Fitz. When not in the hospital or taking care of Fitz, you can find Ally reading, hiking, Pelotoning, trying new restaurants, and keeping up with UT Vols sports.
