Andrew Perry
Professional Bio
Andrew Perry, MD, is trained in cardiovascular medicine with research interests in heart failure biology. His long-term vision is that through the application of emerging OMIC technologies (proteomics, metabolomics, transcriptomics, etc.), therapies may be tailored to reverse heart failure syndromes, identify novel pathways for intervention, and ultimately prevent the development of heart failure. Dr. Perry graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in physics from the University of Utah, and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. He pursed clinical training in internal medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and subspecialty training in cardiovascular disease at the University of Washington Medical Center. Dr. Perry joined Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2023 as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Medicine’s Division of Cardiovascular Medicine.
