Professional Bio
Bhagirathbhai Dholaria, MBBS, is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His areas of interest are malignant hematology and cellular immunotherapies with a focus on lymphoid and plasma cell malignancies. Dr. Dholaria has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of advanced hematological malignancies by using high-intensity chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation. He is involved in the management of patients undergoing Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T- cell therapies under various clinical studies open at VUMC. He is member of B cell Lymphoma Panel of National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and has conducted several studies utilizing international transplant registries to study transplant outcomes of acute leukemia patients. Dr. Dholaria's team's work on stem cell transplantation has been published in multiple manuscripts. His current research efforts are focused on improving the outcomes of patients undergoing CAR T cell therapy and bi-specific antibody-based therapies.
