Briaunna Minor
Interests

Briaunna is a born and raised Midwest Girl, hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is a proud graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana where she majored in Biology and her love for biomedical research was nurtured. Inspired to pursue a career that allowed for use of pipettes and stethoscopes, she matriculated to the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she completed her MD and PhD degrees. Her thesis work sought to determine the contributions of neutrophil production and actions to the estrogen sensitivity of Lymphangioleiomyomatosis. Her career goals are to become a medical oncology physician scientist. She is looking forward to integrating her passion for addressing health care access with the tumor immunology research she loves so much. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys listening to music and photography. She is happy to have boots on the ground in Nashville and excited to join the Vanderbilt Medical Community!
