Bridget was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She was a varsity rower at the University of Notre Dame where she studied Neuroscience & Behavior with a minor in Poverty Studies. Eager to escape the Midwestern winters, she matriculated directly to Duke for medical school. While there, she took an additional research year to obtain a master’s in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford. Bridget hopes to work in primary care and health policy with the goal of increasing access to and quality of care for medically underserved and historically marginalized populations. Her hobbies include carefully curating spotify playlists, watching sports, going to concerts, and baking elaborate birthday cakes for her friends and family. She also loves playing pick-up soccer and basketball but is on the IL following recent knee surgery involving the unhappy triad you may or may not recall from your first year of medical school. Hit her up with recs for low-impact exercise and look out for her on the pitch or the court in 10-12 business months.
