Professional Bio
Brittany Fehlbaum, DO, MS, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Fehlbaum earned her Bachelor of Arts in biology and chemistry from Drury University, followed by a Master of Science in Anatomy from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She attended medical school at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency at University of North Carolina Blue Ridge.
Dr. Fehlbaum's professional contributions during residency were recognized with multiple awards, including Intern of the Year, the PGY-2 Engagement Award, and the Excellence in Mentorship Award. Her professional interests include hospital medicine, quality improvement, resident education and mentorship, with a focus on fostering excellence in patient care and the development of future physicians.
