Claire was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, and attended Birmingham-Southern College for undergrad, followed by the Medical College of Georgia. At MCG, she furthered her love of public health, learning, and reading by completing a Master’s in Public Health, serving as a peer tutor, and starting a book club on humanistic medicine. Claire’s professional interests include health policy, evidence-based medicine, and screening program design. Outside of the hospital, Claire enjoys spending time with her husband, training their miniature poodle, reading, attending plays and musicals, and finding the highest density of trees within a 25-mile radius.
