Professional Bio
Daniel Cottrell, MD, is an Assistant Professor in Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine. He joined the Vanderbilt University Medical Center faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine in 2017. Prior to this, he worked as a Clinician-Educator at Boston Medical Center, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. He has an interest in medical education as well as electronic medical records. Dr. Cottrell attended college at Boston University, medical school at George Washington University School of Medicine, and completed his residency training in Primary Care – Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia.
