Daniella was born and raised in Cranston, Rhode Island. For undergraduate education, she attended Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island and obtained a B.S. in Management with a minor in Marketing. She worked in corporate for some time before realizing her true calling -- medicine! During her gap years she practiced as an Advanced EMT in rural Rhode Island and worked as a medical scribe in the emergency room. Her professional interests include critical care medicine, pulmonology, cardiology, medical education, addiction medicine, palliative care, quality improvement and providing humanistic care. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time in nature, knitting, attending comedy shows, playing video games, creative writing, going to the pet store just to look at the critters, appreciating music, art and food. Daniella will be coming to Nashville with her husband, a restaurant manager, and three beloved felines/esteemed gentlemen who also engage in various scholarly pursuits. A fun fact is that she was voted "Future Comedian" in high school, perhaps there is still time for this opportunity!
