Professional Bio
Edward Gould, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He completed medical school in 2009, graduating with honors from Upstate Medical School in Syracuse, New York. He came to Vanderbilt as a medical resident and subsequently became Chief Medical Resident and completed his nephrology fellowship. His clinical expertise is in general nephrology, but he has specific interest in polycystic kidney disease, kidney stones, and glomerular diseases. His research interests have centered on pharmakokinetic modeling of antibiotics in dialysis patients, medical education, and physician documentation practices.
