Emma was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, the capital city of her wonderful home state. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Kansas State University before attending medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. During medical school, Emma was fortunate to be involved in many meaningful experiences, including serving on a state-level committee of the American College of Physicians, contributing to multiple medical education initiatives, and studying outcomes of transvenous lead extraction procedures under an electrophysiologist. Outside of medicine, Emma is an average pickleball player, a former competitive dancer, and a novice home chef. Emma enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and exploring new restaurants and coffee shops. She couldn’t be more excited to begin her next adventure in Nashville with her partner, Zach, and their Goldendoodle, Vinny!
