Eric grew up outside New York City and attended Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, where he majored in Molecular Biology, was on the track and cross country teams, and sang in an a cappella group. During his gap years, he studied angiogenesis as a research assistant at Weill Cornell, then at Boston Children’s Hospital. Eric completed his MD/PhD training at the University of Louisville, where he investigated the genetic underpinnings of antibody repertoires as well as vascular changes in pulmonary fibrosis. In his free time, he enjoys running, weightlifting, improvisational cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Eric is thrilled to join the Vanderbilt internal medicine/PSTP community and call Nashville his new home!
