PGY1

Eunice Bajomo
Interests

Eunice was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and spent her formative years between Nigeria and Texas. This upbringing fostered her deep appreciation for both Nigerian and Texas cuisines, savoring everything from Nigerian jollof rice to Texas BBQ. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Southwestern University, where she combined her love for dancing and medicine by volunteering with Dancing with Parkinson’s. She decided to move out west for medical school, attending the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine at the University of Utah, where she discovered her passion for internal medicine. Her professional interests include medical education, mentorship, and providing compassionate care for all her patients. Outside of medicine, Eunice enjoys dancing, reading murder mysteries, traveling with her husband, Ian, and trying new (and spicy) cuisines. She is excited to join the Vanderbilt family and make Nashville her new home!
