Professional Bio
Federica B. Angel, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was educated at the University of Texas, Austin and subsequently earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, graduating with clinical honors. She completed her residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2011. Dr. Angel’s approach to practicing medicine is one founded in good communication, active listening and partnership with her patients. Her interests include general internal medicine, women’s health, stress management, and tobacco cessation. In addition to her commitment to primary care, she is involved in medical student education and resident physician training at Vanderbilt. She is a member of the American College of Physicians.
