Professional Bio
Grace Koo, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her clinical practice comprises of adult and pediatric allergy/immunology clinics at VASAP, TVH VA Hospital, and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. She also see patients via the adult allergy/immunology inpatient consult service. Dr. Koo's academic interest is in drug allergy, with a focus on beta-lactam antibiotic delabeling and the impact of delabeling on health care outcomes. She has published numerous publications, and has presented her research at regional and national meetings. She graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. She earned her MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at University of Chicago, followed by chief residency at Loyola Medicine MacNeal Hospital. She completed Allergy/Immunology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
