Hashim AlHammouri
Interests

Hashim was born and raised in Amman, Jordan, with family roots in Irbid. He earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan, where he developed a strong interest in cardiology and a passion for research, mentorship, and medical education. During medical school, he served as head of the research division within the Cardiology Interest Group, mentoring students on research projects and conference presentations. In his final year, he completed a one-month rotation at Vanderbilt and left convinced it was exactly where he was supposed to be, both inside and outside the hospital, and he is thrilled to be coming back! Outside of medicine, Hashim is the person most likely to have already organized the next outing before you've finished the current one. Whether it’s soccer, padel, board games, or spontaneous hangouts, he genuinely enjoys spending time with friends and family and is almost always available. Fun Fact: Hashim once sold over $1,500 worth of honey straws in a single day at a local market while helping run his brother’s business during university.
