Professional Bio
Jessica L. Castilho, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Castilho has a clinical and research interest in the long-term complications of chronic HIV infection. Her research has focused on non-infectious diseases in adults living with HIV on antiretroviral therapy, particularly cancer outcomes. She is also interested in the clinical and immunologic consequences of aging in adults living with. Her epidemiologic research has benefited from collaborations with leading investigators in the US and Latin America.
