Professional Bio
Jessica Rice, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, specializing in the management of pulmonary nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) infections, extrapulmonary NTM infections, bone, joint, and prosthetic joint infections. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as the Therapeutics Infusion Clinic nurse practitioner, providing support for infusion-related concerns, including adverse reactions, emergencies, and complex IV access.
Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University and completed a nurse residency in Vanderbilt’s Level 1 Trauma ICU. She subsequently served as an RN lead in the Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Clinic at Vanderbilt. Jessica obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Her clinical interests include care and treatment of patients with nontuberculous mycobacterial infections, infusion therapy, and complex infection management in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
