Professional Bio
Jordan A. Gallardo, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health in the Section of Hospital Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). She received her bachelor’s degree in biology with a concentration in molecular biology from University of Alabama at Birmingham. She went on to receive her medical degree from UAB Heersink School of Medicine in Birmingham. She completed an internal medicine residency program at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Nashville and joined the VUMC faculty in 2025. Dr. Gallardo’s interests include practicing evidence-based medicine as well as medical education. She was an active participant in her residency program's Residents as Educators program and actively involved in the education and training of medical students. She plans to continue pursuing excellence in patient care and medical education throughout her career at VUMC.
