Josh was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and has remained a lifelong Hoosier. He attended the University of Notre Dame where he studied Biological Sciences and become interested in teaching. He then moved to Indianapolis to attend medical school at Indiana University where he became interested in cardiovascular disease studying aortic aneurysms and peripheral vascular disease. He also enjoyed volunteering and teaching at the student-run free clinic. He is interested in pursuing the field of cardiology but is excited to experience all the nuances of internal medicine during residency. Outside of medicine, Josh enjoys running, weightlifting, cooking, church, history books, spending time with his girlfriend, Miranda, and sports especially the Packers and Pacers. He is incredibly excited to meet his future colleagues and explore all that Nashville has to offer. Fun Fact: Josh has a twin brother who also works in medicine!
