Professional Bio
Julie McDaniel, MSN, AGPCNP-BC, is an Assistant in Medicine in the Division of Geriatric Medicine within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She received her BSN from Lipscomb University and worked as a nurse at VUMC on an inpatient medical-surgical unit that specializes in acute care of the elderly from 2010 to 2014. ln 2014, she completed her MSN at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing specializing in the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner track. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, lota Chapter. McDaniel joined the Division of Geriatrics in 2014. Since then she has been working as a nurse practitioner in the skilled nursing facility and long-term care settings.
