Professional Bio
Julie Damp, MD, is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, followed by residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at VUMC. Dr. Damp as a clinical focus in cardio-obstetrics, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Damp has a dedicated interest in medical education and has held numerous?local and national leadership roles in education.? She is currently the Program Director for the Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship at VUMC, the Chair of the American College of Cardiology Professional Development Courses, and a member of the ACC Competency Management Committee. She has previously served as Chair of the ACC Program Directors and Graduate Medical Educators Section, a member of the ACC Lifelong Learning Oversight Committee, and as Assistant Director of the Vanderbilt Educator Development Program.
