Professional Bio
Kateryna Fedorov, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at Vanderbilt Health and Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.
Dr. Fedorov specializes in the care of patients with hematologic malignancies, with a particular focus on acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and other myeloid neoplasms. She is an active member of Vanderbilt's Phase I clinical trials program, leading early-phase investigations of novel therapies for leukemia. Her clinical and research efforts center on advancing precision medicine approaches for AML, including the development and implementation of menin inhibitor-based therapies and other innovative targeted treatments.
Dr. Fedorov is spearheading the establishment of ORIGIN-Heme, Vanderbilt's Hereditary Hematologic Malignancies Clinic, a pioneering program designed to meet the growing needs of patients and families affected by inherited blood cancer predisposition syndromes. The clinic brings together expertise in hematology, oncology, genetics, and stem cell transplantation to provide comprehensive risk assessment, diagnostic evaluation, surveillance, and personalized treatment planning. By creating this dedicated resource, Dr. Fedorov aims to transform care for patients with hereditary hematologic malignancies, improve early detection and prevention strategies, and expand access to specialized multidisciplinary expertise for families across the region.
