Kathryn J Lindley
Professional Bio
Kathryn Lindley, MD, is a clinical investigator specializing in cardio-obstetrics in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her clinical and research efforts aim to develop multidisciplinary solutions to reducing short- and long-term cardiovascular complications of pregnancy in women with congenital and acquired heart disease. Ongoing research efforts are currently centered on addressing the relationship between preeclampsia and short- and long-term adverse cardiovascular disease in women, and health care disparities in cardiovascular outcomes contributing to maternal mortality. Dr. Lindley earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, and completed her Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship training at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Internal Medicine.
