Kelliann grew up in south Alabama right on the coast of Mobile Bay. She studied biomedical sciences at Auburn University (War Eagle!) before attending medical school at UAB Heersink School of Medicine. She is excited to pursue a career in neurology and has interests in movement disorders, behavioral neurology, preventive medicine, and medical education. Outside of the hospital, Kelliann enjoys exploring new restaurants, going to concerts, traveling, reading, going to workout classes, and golfing. She and her cat Meredith Grey are excited to move to Nashville and join the Vanderbilt family! Fun fact: Kelliann flys for free and has been to 13 countries. Japan is her favorite. The coolest thing she got to eat there was pufferfish!
