Professional Bio
Yingchang (Kevin) Lu, MD, PhD, is a Research Associate Professor in the Division of Genetic Medicine within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Lu has extensive research experience in the genetics of complex traits, including autoimmune, metabolic traits, and cancers. He has developed extensive skills to design, implement, and analyze genetic data from genome-wide association and exome sequencing studies, as well as transcriptomic and metabolomic data.
Dr. Lu has been lead analyst of several large-scale GWAS meta-analysis consortium studies. His current research interest is on genetics of cardiometabolic traits with projects supported by NIH as PI.
