Professional Bio
Kiffany Peggs, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Geriatric Medicine within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a specialist in geriatrics, she has been serving as medical director of multiple long-term care and special needs programs in the state of Tennessee while maintaining a geriatrics private practice.
Dr. Peggs completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt and remained for a fellowship in geriatrics. She completed the Executive MBA Program at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2017 and a Master’s in Public Health from John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Dr. Peggs' interest is inequity and quality of care for Tennessee, especially in the aging and vulnerable populations, as well as training the next generation of geriatricians.
