Professional Bio
Kylie Adamek, MD, is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC).
A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she attended Louisiana State University (LSU) as an undergraduate in biological sciences. She received her medical degree from LSU - New Orleans and then matched at the University of Colorado for internal medicine, where she completed her residency and was selected as chief medical resident for an additional year.
Dr. Adamek matched at VUMC for fellowship in cardiovascular medicine, where she was selected as chief cardiology fellow. She then completed her sub-fellowship in interventional cardiology at Vanderbilt. She has expertise in complex coronary disease, pulmonary thromboembolism, including catheter-directed therapies, as well as sports cardiology.
