Kylie grew up in Hartsville, South Carolina and is very proud of her small hometown. She attended the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!), where she studied Biochemistry and Philosophy. As a child, Kylie would travel to Nashville each summer to visit her aunt and fell in love with the city. She set her sights on coming to Vanderbilt, and is grateful to have attended medical school here. As a Vanderbilt medical student, Kylie was involved with Shade Tree Clinic, earned a certificate in Biomedical Ethics, and completed a research year in Oncology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, designing and sewing clothing, running, weight lifting, and yoga. She is excited to be staying at Vanderbilt!
