Professional Bio
Lin Zhong, MD, PhD, is a Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He graduated with a medical degree, and a PhD in Pathology from Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University, China. He did his postdoctoral research in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University Technological Institute. Before joining Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2006, he was a Research Associate in Biochemistry Department at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Zhong's research has been focused on understanding the molecular and cellular mechanisms in cardiovascular disease.
