Lincoln was born and raised in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. He studied Chemistry at the University of Minnesota before coming to Nashville to attend medical school at Vanderbilt. During medical school, he enjoyed serving at Shade Tree Clinic and developed a strong interest in oncology research, completing a research year studying T cell-tumor interactions through the ASH Medical Student Physician-Scientist Award. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, cooking and baking, and spending time outdoors (running, hiking, sports). Fun fact: Growing up, his family fostered Great Danes and often had 3+ Danes in the house at any given time.
