Professional Bio
Marissa C. Kopatic, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Clinical Pharmacology within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
She began her medical training in Dallas at U.T. Southwestern Medical School, then completed her Emergency Medicine residency and Medical Toxicology Fellowship training at the University of Virginia. Her academic interests include medical education and cardiac sensitization theory.
Dr. Kopatic's clinical practice is based at Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt Wilson County hospitals. She has a secondary appointment in the Department of Emergency Medicine and is the Managing Director of the Tennessee Poison Center.
