Nicholas was born and raised in Ada, Michigan and moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina to complete his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Wake Forest University. He stayed in Winston-Salem to complete medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Nicholas found his passion for Neurology early on in medical school and united this with strong interests in medical education and mentorship. He also has been involved in neurology research in medical school and chemistry research during college, and he has played the trombone and euphonium throughout college and medical school. In his free time, Nicholas enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to and making music, and spending time with friends and family. He is excited to pursue his Neurology training at Vanderbilt!
