Professional Bio
Patrick Evans, PhD, is a Research Instructor in the Division of Genetic Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Evans’ projects focus on genetics of complex and Mendelian diseases. His previous work was focused on evolutionary and population genetics. Additional methods he has employed include GWAS and linkage analysis. He is particularly interested in genetic research of evolution and genetic architecture of complex disease. Dr. Evans did his undergraduate work at Indiana University and his doctoral training at the University of Chicago.
