Professional Bio
Philip Wilson, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health. He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine (VUSM), then completed internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston, followed by a chief residency at BIDMC. He returned to Vanderbilt in 2025 as a primary care clinician and is a co-director of the How Doctors Think Integrated Science Course at VUSM.
