Professional Bio
Rachael Pellegrino, MD, MPH, is an Instructor in the Division of Infectious Diseases within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas, she attended the University of Arkansas for undergraduate studies where she majored in biochemistry and anthropology.
She attended medical school at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she discovered her passion for internal medicine and public health. She stayed an extra year to complete an MPH in epidemiology and biostatistics and hopes to intertwine these interests in her career.
Dr. Pellegrino was a Fellow in the Division of Infectious Diseases prior to joining the faculty in 2025.
