Professional Bio
Rachel Dill, MSN, AGACNP, APRN, is an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Medicine's Division of Geriatric Medicine at Vanderbilt University Hospital. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Vanderbilt University's School of Nursing in 2024 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Belmont University in 2016. Before joining the Division of Geriatric Medicine in 2026, Rachel served as a Registered Nurse at VUH, caring for patients across a variety of acute and critical care settings. She began her nursing career on the Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) Unit, where she developed a strong passion for caring for older adults. She later transitioned to the Medical ICU, including the COVID ICU, where she provided specialized critical care for medically complex patients. Drawing her experience across the continuum of inpatient care, Rachel is passionate about improving transitions of care and ensuring older adults receive compassionate, high-quality care beyond their hospitalization. She is committed to helping patients and their families navigate complex medical needs while promoting continuity of care, preserving functional independence, and optimizing health and quality of life.
