Reece Frechette
Interests

Reece grew up in the suburbs of Jacksonville, Florida, with his parents and two sisters, where he developed a love for distance running, cell biology, and teaching. He competed in NCAA Division I Cross Country at Stetson University while earning a degree in molecular biology, focusing on local health care and malignant hematologic research. After graduating in 2020, he pivoted to working as a medical scribe in emergency medicine and cardiology, sparking his interest in general cardiology. As a medical student at the University of Florida College of Medicine, he further explored this interest through clinical research and mentorship—areas he hopes to continue building on throughout residency and beyond. Outside of medicine, he is a diehard Florida Gators and Jacksonville Jaguars fan who enjoys running, golf, frisbee golf, and pickleball. A big-time music listener as well, he’s excited to expand his vinyl record collection and explore Nashville’s vibrant music scene.
