Professional Bio
Robin L. Dalal, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
She earned her BS from the University of Georgia in Athens and her MD from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. She completed her internship, residency, chief residency, and gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Dalal has received numerous teaching awards and recognitions, and she is a is involved in several educational programs at different levels of training within the medical center. She serves as the Program Director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at VUMC, the Program Director of the Advanced Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fellowship Program at VUMC, and as a Portfolio Coach in the VUMC School of Medicine.
She is actively involved in leadership committees in national organizations including the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America and the American College of Gastroenterology. She has been an invited speaker locally and nationally at specialty conferences and courses.
Dr. Dalal's outpatient clinic is dedicated to caring for patients with inflammatory bowel disease and she also attends clinically on the inpatient Inflammatory Bowel Disease consult service.
