Professional Bio
Saed Shawar, MBBS, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension within the Department of Medicine.
He received his MBBS from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, then completed his internal medicine residency in Internal Medicine at UTMB. Dr. Shawar completed a nephrology fellowship from Baylor College of Medicine and a transplant nephrology fellowship from VUMC. He is now the program director for the Kidney-Pancreas Transplant Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
