Sara Brown
Professional Bio
SaraBrown, MD, completed her medical school and internal medicine residency training at the University of Maryland. After a final year as Chief Resident, she moved to Nashville to complete a three-year combined gastroenterology and transplant hepatology fellowship at VanderbiltUniversity Medical Center. Dr. Brown's research involves the evolution of sarcopenia in patients with cirrhosis undergoing liver transplantation. She has a keen interest in multi-disciplinary management and care of patients with Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) and chronic liver disease. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, watching the New York Yankees and Penn State football, and exploring Nashville's many delicious restaurants.
