Professional Bio
Sara Hockney, MD, MSCI, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine Division of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt Health.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency, Infectious Diseases fellowship, and Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI) at Northwestern University before joining faculty at Vanderbilt.
Dr. Hockney provides comprehensive HIV primary care and evaluates and treats patients with a broad range of general infectious diseases. Her clinical and research interests include the prevention and management of chronic comorbidities and promoting healthy aging among people living with HIV.
