Professional Bio
A. Scott McCall MD, PhD, is an Instructor in Medicine in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He conducts translational research within the Vanderbilt Lung Institute focusing on Pulmonary Fibrosis and developing new therapies to improve lung regeneration after injury.
He is a graduate of the Kansas State University, obtained a PhD in Pharmacology, and completed his clinical fellowship training in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. McCall's research has been supported through funding from the NHLBI T32 program as a fellow, and currently by the Vanderbilt Faculty Research Scholars (VFRS) program.
