Professional Bio
Seesandra V. Rajagopala, PhD, is a Research Assistant Professor of Medicin in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He specializes in microbial genomics and systems biology.
His research currently focuses on developing and employing metagenomics and metatranscriptomics techniques to investigate the human microbiome and gain insights into the complex interactions between the human body and microorganisms in healthy and various disease conditions.
