Shawn Gregory
Professional Bio
Shawn Gregory, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Originally from Gallatin, Tennessee, he attended the University of Alabama on scholarship. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and subsequently completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama School of Medicine where he also served as Chief Medical Resident and Instructor of Medicine. Dr. Gregory completed clinical cardiology, imaging, and research fellowships at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School (HMS). He then served on the faculty of the MGH and HMS until being recruited to Vanderbilt. At Vanderbilt he has served in several roles including the former Chief of Cardiology at the Nashville VA Medical Center.
